Corea, Maine
There is a sand beach at medium and low tide in front of the one-acre lot overlooking Gouldsboro Bay and Sand Cove, but if you want to swim, the ocean is a bit cold here and there are several fresh water lakes close by for fishing, swimming and boating. There is plenty of beach and rock to climb over and around.

Corea is a working lobster-fishing village, much the same as it was a hundred years ago except that most of the fishermen have pickup trucks today. It is not a place for crowds or outside entertainment, but if you are looking for a quiet retreat and a beautiful place to be, I believe you will fall in love with it as we did when we first came there.

The cottage is located just across the causeway on Crowley Island on an acre of land overlooking the water.
